synopsis

 

Kolya, a 10 years old boy lives with his grandmother in a small provincial town. His mother died giving birth to him. His gramdmother told him that his father never tried to contact him. She blames Kolya’s father for her daughter’s death. Once Kolya’s grandmother announces to him that she must leave and is obliged to introduce him to someone… She takes Kolya to his father’s country house where he spends his holiday walking his Labrador in the woods, fishing and gathering mushrooms. Father and son will rediscover each other, overcoming inner misunderstandings as well as numerous obstacles in their life path.
