synopsis

 

One of the Russia’s most original Russian directors (Father, Santa Klaus Is Dead; The Wooden Room; Silver Heads), Yevgeny Yufit has created a enigmatic drama in which a female anthropologist studies the roots of human evolution. Phantoms of history and the death of her father, a WWII submarine captain, influence her subconscious.
