synopsis

 

The story of the life and creative work of a conflicted genius – a happy, unlucky, ill-fated favorite of fortune. The story revolves around the relationship of Andersen and the two principle women in his life. It’s about his unrequited passionate love for the famous Swedish singer Jenni Lind, and his sentimental affection for Admiral Volf’s daughter Henrietta, who was been in love with him for many years.
