“Guppy” is a play by the world-famous playwright Vassiliy Sigarev, the winner of the London Evening Standarts Award as “Most Promising Playwright”. The award was handed to him by Tom Stoppard who excitedly compared him to Dostoyevsky.

The basic plot of the play is somewhat a vaudeville. Him, Her, and the Husband – a classical love triangle. However, the author defines its genre as “maybe comedy, maybe tragedy”.
